Lormar in numbers
A story made of numbers
Our origins
55 years of experience and passion
Lormar was founded in 1971 in Carpi, in the heart of the Emilian corsetry district, as a small artisan workshop set up by Felice Martinelli and Carla Scacchetti. What began as a craft of hands and fabrics grew, over five decades, into a benchmark for Italian women's underwear — a company that now produces millions of garments a year and distributes them in over 25 countries worldwide.
Today, as then, the philosophy remains the same: creating garments that are beautiful to wear and perfect to live in. Feminine, sophisticated products, designed with quality materials and a competitive price-quality ratio. Styles that meet new trends and new fits, offering an ever-wider size range and an ever-broader choice of patterns and occasions of use.
"Our work has something artisanal about it, with great attention to style and detail."
Identity
Our guiding principles
Femininity
Every garment is designed to enhance every woman's body, celebrating her curves rather than hiding them. From the "wow" super push-up styles, +2 cup sizes, to the "supercomfort" E-cup range, all the way to "modern" seamless and bonded pieces, where the absence of seams turns a technical garment into a new kind of fit.
Comfort
Fit is never a compromise — it's the starting point. Soft materials, carefully studied shapes, advanced construction technologies. Because Lormar is designed to make every woman feel at ease, on every occasion and at every moment of the day and night.
Craftsmanship
From the choice of materials to the care for detail, from style research to direct control over production: every Lormar garment is the result of know-how built over more than half a century of experience, born from a love for the product and an all-Italian taste and style.
A complete offer, unique in its kind
The ability to pair an extensive range of "continuity" corsetry and underwear pieces — restockable and available all year round — with a series of high-fashion-content collections: true coordinated collections spanning Underwear, Nightwear, Homewear and Knitwear, all the way to Outwear and Leisurewear.
A unique, appealing "showcase effect" able to meet the needs of an increasingly diverse and complex market. At the centre remains a flawless product, at the right price, that follows the latest sales trends.
Our brands
Three brands, one vision
The group's offer is organised around three distinct brands, each with its own personality and target audience, all sharing the same attention to quality, detail and fit.
The heart of the company. A wide choice of styles and graduated cup sizes to dress women for every occasion — from everyday underwear to the most refined lingerie, from nightwear to homewear. For over 50 years, Lormar has been the brand through which the company expresses its philosophy: celebrating every woman's body, at every moment of the day.
Comfortable styles always in line with the latest trends, designed for young women with a contemporary spirit. Infiore brings Italian underwear quality to a wider audience, through the mass-market retail channel and with an accessible price positioning. The brand also includes Infiore Classic, dedicated to curvy women with styles that support and enhance feminine curves.
The natural extension of the Infiore universe into menswear. Underwear, nightwear and leisurewear for young men with a contemporary spirit — comfortable styles, always in line with the latest trends. Launched as Nickel&Dime in 2022, the brand completed its rebranding in 2024.
